Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa-Deluxe All Inclusive

I have traveled all over the world, but this was my first time in the Maldives. Everything about it was a new experience....including the seaplane flight to the resort! I have very high standards, and I am very particular about where I stay, whether traveling for business or pleasure. The quality and amenities of a hotel/resort can make or break the stay. Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa exceeded my expectations in every way....and that's saying a lot. It's hard to believe that a place could be as stunning as it is in the photos online, but it absolutely is. The pictures are accurate, but only tell a small part of the exceptional experience you embark on when you get there. From the moment you arrive at the Male International Airport, a rep from the Resort connects with you to ensure that you move through the seaplane check-in process with ease, and that you make your flight. You get National Geographic level views as you are flown to the Resort. And upon arrival, you are greeted by lovely, warm Staff, champagne, and beauty that will stop you in your tracks. Then, your Host will greet you to whisk you away to your home in paradise & OMG the villas! Absolutely everyone at this Resort engages with guests with genuine warmth, kindness and a willingness to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. I appreciated all of the staff, but give particular mention to Julie - the Spa Manager - whom I greeted as a guest, but left as a friend. She was delightful and accommodating, which made my Spa experience even more memorable. I am especially grateful to my Villa Host Wisham, who from the moment I met him, took care to answer every question, assist with every request, and help shuttle me around the island when needed. He embodies all of the character traits you could hope for in a Host. He was communicative, punctual for pick-ups, thoughtful, kind, and diligent at all times. He even made a special carving for a friend's bday! Thank you Wisham!

Everything was fantastic, from the accommodation, the food and the friendly staff. We stayed in a water villa which was clean, stylish and had the best ocean view.　 Our daughter was thrilled when she walked in and said, "This is the best I have ever had!". We really felt comfortable in our room thanks to the housekeeper who cleaned our messy room perfectly twice a day. 　 all staff were really friendly and kind. Especially our butler Igga took very good care of us with great attention to detail. We believe our stay was better because of him.　 The food was really good at all the restaurants but the Teppanyaki restaurant stood out. It was initially fully booked but Igga put us on the waiting list and finally we could get a seat. The taste was great, of course, but it was the performance and talk of the chef Juber that made our dinner time so enjoyable and wonderful. 　Another favorite of my husband's was the Beach Club Grill Restaurant. The sea breeze from the beach was nice and the food was delicious. We went there for lunch three days in a row. We were supposed to go on a manta ray tour, but the weather was bad and we could not go on the manta ray tour. Instead, we went on a snorkeling tour where we were able to enjoy the amazing coral reefs and countless fish.　 On a separate snorkeling tour, we saw sea turtles and were able to swim with them. The members of the diving center were very supportive of our 9 years old daughter during the snorkel tour and she and we had a safe and positive experience.

This was our second trip to Emerald Maldives. This is one of the top destinations as everything was outstanding from the moment the sea plane reached the hotel until the last minutes we spent there. Staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. Thanks to our villa host, Wisham, who made an extra effort to make our stay most enjoyable. He made a special arrangement for my birthday and made sure we had an amazing stay there.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great variety of food. Very clean. Great waiting area in Male for the seaplane. Bikes were fun and easy to use. Hammock above the water. Hassan was great and found the dolphins! Faya was a great guide and host!

This was our second stay at Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa, and once again, it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality, especially from our wonderful host Sid. He went above and beyond to accommodate our every request, always with a smile. On our last day, he even arranged a late check-out so our 3-year-old son could nap comfortably in the afternoon — a thoughtful gesture that made all the difference. The resort itself is simply stunning. Our private pool villa was impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and offered the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The snorkeling right off the reef was incredible — we saw a vibrant array of fish and even spotted a shark a couple of times! Dining at the resort is a true culinary experience, with a variety of amazing restaurants serving delicious food from around the world. The kids club was a big hit with our son, giving us the chance to unwind and enjoy the exceptional spa services. Every detail of the resort is designed with relaxation and enjoyment in mind, and it shows. Emerald Maldives continues to be a slice of paradise for us, and we can’t wait to return again soon.
